What types of bottles can a PET blow molding machine produce?

PET blow molding machines are among the most widely used equipment in the packaging industry. From everyday mineral water bottles to high-end cosmetic bottles, from carbonated beverage bottles to cooking oil bottles, PET blow molding machines cover almost every type of hollow plastic container you can imagine. So, what bottle types can Jndwater PET blow molding machines actually produce? What are the equipment requirements for different bottle types?

I. Bottle Types Produced by Jndwater PET Blow Molding Machines: Seven Main Categories

Drinking Water and Beverage Bottles

Mineral Water/Purified Water Bottles: From small capacities of 330ml/550ml to large capacities of 2L/5L, PET bottles almost dominate the entire bottled water market. PET material is highly transparent, lightweight, non-toxic, and odorless, making it ideal for drinking water packaging.

Carbonated Beverage Bottles: Carbonated beverages have special requirements for bottle pressure resistance. Carbonated beverage bottles need to withstand internal pressure of 4-5 atmospheres, requiring higher precision in the bottle neck thread and stronger bottle walls.

Hot-Fill Bottles: Fruit juices and tea beverages typically require filling at 85-95℃. PET blow molding machines, through special heat-setting processes (bottle neck crystallization treatment, mold heating to 120-140℃, etc.), can produce high-temperature resistant hot-fill bottles.

Square and irregularly shaped bottles: In addition to regular round bottles, fully automatic rotary PET blow molding machines can also be used to produce containers of various shapes, such as square bottles, oval bottles, and irregularly shaped PET bottles.

Edible Oil Bottles

Edible oil packaging is an important application area for PET blow molding machines. PET material has good oil resistance and barrier properties, protecting oils from oxidation. Blow molding machines can produce oil bottles in various sizes from 375ml to 5L and 10L.

Cosmetic and Daily Chemical Bottles

Cosmetic and daily chemical products have high requirements for the appearance and texture of their bottles. PET blow molding machines can produce various shapes of daily chemical containers, such as lotion bottles, face cream bottles, perfume bottles, shampoo bottles, and shower gel bottles. Fully automatic blow molding machines, with their high-precision molding capabilities, can perfectly showcase the high-end quality of cosmetics; while semi-automatic or one-step machines are suitable for small-batch production of cosmetic bottles with special shapes.

Pharmaceutical Packaging Bottles

The pharmaceutical industry has stringent requirements for the cleanliness and precision of packaging. PET blow molding machines can produce pharmaceutical packaging containers such as medicine bottles, oral liquid bottles, and health product bottles. One-step blow molding machines (integrated injection stretch blow molding machines) are particularly suitable for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging industries because they eliminate intermediate contamination.

Food Packaging Bottles

PET blow molding machines can produce food containers including sauce bottles, honey bottles, soy sauce bottles, and condiment bottles. These bottles must have excellent sealing and hygiene properties to ensure food safety and quality.

Special Shapes and High-End Bottles

For small-batch, diverse, and custom-shaped bottle production needs, our PET blow molding machines, designed for high-quality manufacturing, can produce medicine bottles, cosmetic bottles, perfume bottles, cleaning bottles, baby bottles, and custom-shaped bottles. Some models offer flexible capacity options from 10cc to 2500cc, and support materials such as PET, PET-G, TRITAN, and rPET.

Relationship between Automation Level and Bottle Production

Fully Automatic Blow Molding Machine

Fully automatic blow molding machines use robotic arms to automatically complete the entire process of preform feeding, heating, blowing, and demolding. They are highly efficient, reaching a maximum capacity of over 24,000 bottles per hour. Fully automatic blow molding machines offer precise temperature control, timely program analysis, and stable bottle quality, making them suitable for large-scale standardized production. They can blow various shapes of bottles, including carbonated bottles, mineral water bottles, pesticide bottles, cosmetic bottles, wide-mouth bottles, and hot-fill bottles.

Semi-Automatic Blow Molding Machine

Semi-automatic blow molding machines require manual intervention in preform placement and demolding. They are suitable for small-batch, multi-variety, or customized production. They require less investment, are easy to operate, and simple to maintain, making them suitable for small workshops or trial production of special bottle shapes. In China, semi-automatic blow molding machines are commonly used in the production of 10ml-20L mineral water bottles, 5-gallon (18.9L) bottled water, beverage bottles, oil bottles, cosmetic bottles, pesticide bottles, and household medicine bottles.
